Since we moved to Douglassville, PA in 2005 we have been working on a humble retreat center. We have had a few retreats here in the past year. It is small and rustic, yet peaceful and is open for use by  small groups of no more than 30 people. The schedule for use of the retreat center coincides with our regular retreat schedule and the cost for use (without food provided) is the same as in our retreat contract (less the mileage). Meal costs are at a rate of $5.00per person for each meal (totally worth it considering my wife Kate's amazing gift for hospitality).
    If I am running the retreat at our center, I will not expect more than the contract fee unless there are materials involved. (you are saving me time and fuel costs).
    We are still working on the center. If your group would be interested in volunteering some time to this construction project, we would welcome the help. (On work days, the food is on us.)
    Any donations given toward this project are, of course, most welcome.
